For Spring 2010, Hervé Léger by Max Azria mixes the folkloric beauty of
home-spun technique with the sophistication of couture. Taking cues from
dusty sands and desert skies, gradating neutrals and washed denim blues
reflect her bohemian sensibility and free spirit. Artisan details like indigo
tie-dying, crochet, braiding, batik and passementerie define the seductive
allure of authenticity. Her accessories are tactile; envelope clutches are
corded in a labyrinth of rope, while riveted cork-heeled platforms are rich
with the textures of natural linen and suede.
